Across the Burning Water
PREVIEW (from chapter 14)

Abaou Qu suddenly slowed, bringing his horse to a halt. He could feel a dark presence lurking in the shadows. He had no doubt what was waiting for him. Before he could warn Turvan though, the creature leapt from the shadows, knocking Abaou Qu off his horse. The horse panicked and tried to run, but Turvan acted quickly, grabbing the reigns just in time.
"What a shame...I was expecting a greater opponent," the creature hissed, rubbing its hands together. It moved its neck, its joints cracking beneath the strain. Abaou Qu

The night was heavy and dark, and the snow seemed to cling to the air. It must have been somewhere around midnight. The town of Airglyph was nestled deep in sleep.
Fayt entered his room, exhausted. He, Sophia, and Nel had spent a good part of the day training in Traum Mountains. Every muscle in his body ached, but he was satisfied. He was getting stronger.
He collapsed into a bed. He didn't really care if it wasn't him; he hadn't bothered to check. If worse came to worse, he might wake up to find Cliff by his side. He'd

~Arrival~
Just a coincidence, I suppose, but I had received a call late one morning with a job. Now, its not that getting a job is all that rare for me, but the severity of it was more than a young private detective would usually get. And for myself, it was a first.
The old manor rolled into view and I glared out at it from the window of the taxi. The sparse trees continually blocked my vision, but I could always see the dark shadow looming beyond them. The cracking wooden building rose up

Part 2
~Another Delay~
Breakfast had been rather quiet that morning. Most of the guests were there, but strangely, Cain, Ms. Piggle, and Miss Rachel were all absent. Of course, Mr. Neuwirth was as well, but that was to be expected. Because of that though, even Mr. Langdon, Mr. Simmons, and Mr. Georges didnt say a word about business the entire meal. With breakfast finally over, I went to go find the housekeeper to find out the information in regards to the pol
Let's Bunny Hop
by Sanzaki Kojika
Disclaimer: I do NOT own Star Ocean 4 or any of the characters in any way, shape, or form. But, if I did own one of those bunnies, I would be saving all the cacti all across the land! A ha ha ha! Please excuse any inconsistencies with the actual game, as it's been a bit of time since I've played it. But, yeah, onto the story~! NOTE: This contains really minor hints of Edge x Faize and vice versa! (like if you squint and look between the lines, lol)
Who would have ever imagined that catching one little bunny would be so hard? Hours of sweat and tears had already been dedicated to this wild chase, and still
Sunrise: My Last Hope
By Sanzaki Kojika
Disclaimer: I do NOT in any way, shape, or form, own Star Ocean 4 The Last Hope, as much as I would like to. This is just a short little drabble, during the part when Faize was angsting over everything that happened. But, please enjoy~! (Sorta hints to Faize x Edge) I'm just in a rather annoyed and dark mood
Maybe a bit spoilerish ? You probably won't understand it unless you've gotten that far though But, I'll say SPOILER WARNING, just in case.
It hurt. It stung, like nothing I had ever felt before. My heart had twisted inside my chest, and the world around me was in a haze. I could
