Shinigami boy Himeko Contest

My next entry for 's contest. This is a Shinigami kitty boy X3 The character design is hers, but it's in my own style and I picked out all the colors ^.-

Okay..so I don't know why, but I started with coloring in the hour glass. And somehow...this all ended up with a bluesh theme XD The hour glass (its broken) represents life I guess...and the red ribbon is the red thread of fate (cept it's not a thread...and I just randomyl colored it XD ). Hee hee. I think this came out better than the original line art. Gotta love clean up jobs....;_; I hate it. Maybe if I learn how to ink....Anyways..that's it Oh, cept I turned him into Byakko-like then Himeko pointed out that those weren't stripes on his face..jsut whiskers XD But I didnt feel like changing it X3
