Cosplay Tutorial: Boot Coverby *kojika

So, after having a convo with Reirei today, she asked me to do a tutorial for boot covers, so I did, lol. They really aren't that hard to do, but sometimes it's just seeing things laid out for you.

Anyways, this is how I make boot covers, and even boots for cosplays

(i even did this with Impa's sandals, haha)

That is an awesome tutorial! Also, totally random...I own that EXACT pair of ankle boots and love them! And paid about $20 for them, too.

Wait. Did you use a white vinyl for Faize's boot? And can you run around while wearing the boots or is that a bad idea?

The base of the boot for Faize is mostly white vinyl, but it has some other stuff on it (for the detailing). Um, well, running around moreso depends on how you work in boots, and how good you make them. I mean, I just don't really run around period at cons, lol. But with Faize's, I was "bouncing" around like he does in the game in them fine.

Well, I am only asking because in another tutorial someone did, it was with a tennis shoe, and they warned cosplayers not to run in it because it could tear the fabrics or something. I was just wondering. o:

Oh, I don't think it would be an issue. I mean, I use a variety of things for the base. Like Faize was some sorta platform shoe I found. But I can move around it with no problem, so if I wanted to run, I would be able to. It just comes down to what materials you use, and how you put it together
